As you should all (as in the dozen or so people that follow this blog even though my other one has thousands) know by now, Rihanna has just released a remix for her classy song Birthday Cake with ex boyfriend, Chris Brown!
What is so disturbing about that you ask?

Oh yeah.
Recap: Chris Brown hits Rihanna (pronounced Ree-Anna not Riii-Ahh-Naaahh) after an argument. Rihanna goes back to him foolishly, going way down in my books, loosing respect as a role model, and almost ruining her career.
Instead of keeping it her business, or doing a long sit down interview with Oprah, and writing a book and then becoming a has been, she does this…
Love The Way You Lie-Number One
Rihanna, Rihanna, Rihanna…

Followed by…
S&M-Number One (after a Britney Spears remix-who does something totally different in her Criminal video after being hit by a man)
And then when you think it cannot get any worse, I cannot hate her more, I can not want to get her excommunicated from Def-FLOP-Jam records any. more.
Come and put your name on it…
Birthday Cake Remix featuring Chris Brown.

“ooh I wanna fuck you right now”
Really?

Really? Seriously?
These two need to just go…This offers no artistic value. At all. S&M was a great song, Love The Way You Lie was a bit thought provoking, but as much as I love it-this is just sick. And not the sick that makes you wanna take a ride on a discostick, sick like they can go do their own S&M thing as far away from the public as possible.
She releases 4 singles and then does no videos, and then out of the blue Starships comes out and people are going to be too overwhelmed to care anymore…

Madonna Tribers and Iconers around the world
Carla and I have recently purchased VIP Madonna tickets. She was over watching the SuperBowl (By the by, oh my Gad!!! what a show) and then we sat on MadonnaTribe waiting for a tour announcement. Then finally, Madonna announces her first concert in Seattle since 1987. Of course we had to get the closest tickets we could afford. I could not believe that I was seeing my Icon since I was 5 or 6 for the second time, front row/VIP!
Now lets get this straight. I will always be a Little Monster. But…Madonna was there first. Madonna will never be my favorite, but she has always been there. The Sticky And Sweet Tour is one of my favorite memories, and I’ve always listened to and worshiped Madge.
So we were lucky enough to get VIP tickets, and I’m really looking forward to all of the merch, the VIP treatment, being so close to the Queen! Ahh…
However, its not exactly soon
